Conteiner types

Shipping containerization is a strict international dimensions standard that allows shipping containers to be easily transported, as a whole, over sea, and by rail and truck. These shipping containers are called ‘intermodal’ or ‘ISO’ containers. They have standardized lengths, widths, heights and strengths.
There are several types of transport containers, depending on the type of cargo transported in them.

what container do i need for my cargo?

If you need to deliver the cargo, but you do not know what size and type of container you need, then you can use our Volume calculator, as well as a detailed description of each type of existing containers below.

The calculator works very simply: enter the number of cargo units, its length, height and width, then the calculator will give the total cargo volume and container options that suit you.

If your freight has a volume of up to 15 CBM, then you should use LCL as the most cost-effective option.

DRY CARGO CONTAINER

A dry container is a type of freight container, totally enclosed and weatherproof, with a rigid roof, rigid side walls, and floor, having at least one of its end walls equipped with doors and intended to be suitable for the transport of cargo of the greatest possible variety. This is the most common type of container.

High Cube PalletWide units were specifically designed with the 1.2 m “Europallet” in mind. The equipment, with its internal width, allowing loa-ding of 2 pallets side by side, ensures optimum utilisation of space. Ship-pers benefit by being able to load more Europallets than they would in a standard ISO container.
